Nice crisp crackers that you can top with everything you like. Ideal for a light breakfast/lunch or as a afternoon snack. They’re super easy to make! You can store them in a sealed container for up to a week. One cracker of 15 grams contains 2.2 grams of carbs and 89.3 kilocalories
I make mine with almond & soy flour, but if you’re on a strict low-carb diet I recommend you to replace the soy flour with the same amount of almond flour, for less carbs.
What you will need for 115 grams:
- 2 sheets of baking parchment
- Baking tray
- 40 grams of almond flour
- 40 grams of soy flour
- 1 egg
- 15 grams of butter (melted)
- 15 grams of sesame seeds
Preheat your oven to 160 degrees celsius. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until it forms a dough. Place your dough between two large pieces of baking parchment. Use a rolling pin to roll out to get the thickness you like. I made mine really thin, so they will become nice and crisp when done. Cut the dough into rectangles. Place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes, until they look golden. Enjoy with some guacamole or eggsalad (recipe will follow soon)!
